ABOUT JIMENA DE LA FRONTERA

Jimena de la Frontera sits between the Serranía de Ronda mountains and the Bay of Algeciras, just 30 minutes from the coast and Gibraltar. It's approximately an hour from Málaga and also benefits from a historic railway station on the scenic Algeciras to Ronda line.

The village sits within Los Alcornocales Natural Park, featuring ancient cork oak forests, rivers, and epic views stretching to Gibraltar and as far as Africa. Jimena also enjoys 3,000 hours of sunshine per year with average temperatures between 18-20°C, ideal for year-round celebrations.

Though the village is very traditional, with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses, it has an international community with plenty of accommodation for additional guests, as well as restaurants and bars.

The combination of accessibility, stunning surroundings, perfect weather, and old-world Spanish charm makes Jimena a perfect destination.
